Hello, from Atlanta, GA... I am Elizabeth Milano, a native Atlantan. I began my college career as a student-athlete playing NCAA Division 1 tennis for a small university in Maryland. Quickly I realized that my passion for broadcast journalism and english would be better suited at the University of Georgia, where I transferred and was accepted into the prestigious Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communications... GO DAWGS!
As a college senior I was asked the same question over and over, "What kind of job in journalism do you want?" With graduation day fast approaching, four amazing internships behind me, and spending my last semester working for Grady Newsource in all aspects of production both on and off camera, I was finally able to say digital producing and broadcasting!
I have found my home in a field where every day is full of infinite possibilities. My responsibility to create an eye-catching, fast-paced way to share breaking news and engaging stories with the public in an honest, unbiased way is truly my passion.
My first job, Digital Content Producer for national news with Gray Television led me to my next opportunity as an Associate Video Producer for Gannett Co. and USA TODAY's Network online, national digital news platform. My 2 1/2 years with them was fantastic. In January 2022 I was recruited by NBC Universal and now work for Access Hollywood as an Associate Digital Producer in entertainment news.
I'm excited to see what the future has in store next for me!
